Commotion Studios hires videographer Neil Atchley to staff
TUCSON (October 26, 2011) Local multimedia production company Commotion Studios has hired a new Director of Photography. Tucson-based videographer Neil Atchley joined the company on October 17.
While known in Tucson for his work as a cameraman, Atchley’s experience spans all aspects of the audiovisual field from video editing to event lighting, projection, teleconferencing, and internet.
“Neil brings an incredible energy and a unique skill set to Commotion Studios,” said company president Matt George. “His vast knowledge and industry experience will allow us to continue our solid growth and increase overall productivity, while maintaining our commitment to customer service and community support.”
Atchley, who studied media communications at Pima Community College, has operated his own videography company for more than 10 years. He also worked with Scottsdale-based American Audio Visual Center administering audiovisual needs at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, and spent several years at St. Louis-based Swank Audio Visuals, providing audiovisual expertise at corporate events around the country.
“I am looking forward to challenging myself creatively in this position,” Atchley said. “I am also excited at the prospect of providing Tucson nonprofit agencies with quality services that will allow them to thrive and continue to help our community.”
